Trixie
Trixie says Hi! Trixie is always happy to meet someone new, greeting everyone with a hearty tail wag. She is an approximately 10-year-old All-American mix. We don't really know, and she's not telling, but we do know she weighs around 27 pounds and is a great dog in the house with impeccable house manners. She is fully housetrained, doesn't bother a thing in the house, and is a very, very easy keeper. Trixie would do best in a low-key home where she can snooze in the sun and maybe go for a short walk. She will be your little shadow, as she will want to be in the same room with you most of the time. Trixie has learned a lot of new things since coming into rescue, such as a doggie door, walking well on a leash, learning to share with her foster siblings. Trixie is an all-around really nice girl who will make someone a great companion. She has a lot of love to give and would love to find her special person. If Trixie sounds like the gal for you, please see the adoption page and fill out an application.
Rosie
Update 7/9/2026: Rosie is scheduled for ACL surgery July 28, 2026 and will be recuperating in her foster home until around November 1. We would still like to hear from you if you might be Rosie's forever family.
We'd like to introduce Christmas Rose ("Rosie"), a beautiful 2-year-old husky/malamute mix(65-70 lbs) with a loving, friendly personality.
* House-trained and crate-trained
* Selective with other dogs; would do well with a laid-back friend about her size; foster family are working with her on her social manners
* High prey drive - not suitable with cats or small dogs
* Best with an experienced pack leader and an active family (needs plenty of exercise)
* Children 10+ OK
If your household matches Rosie's needs, please fill out an adoption application.
Little Bit
Little Bit is a 6-year-old doxie mix who has just found a foster home. He and his foster mom are still getting acquainted, but his foster mom says he weighs about 13 pounds and is housetrained. He gets along with the other dogs and cat in the home. He is a sweet and loving little boy, obviously cute, very well behaved, and up for adoption!
