Harley

Harley needs a fresh start. ❤️

This isn't because Harley isn't a good dog. It's because life changed.

Her family no longer has a yard, and the stress of sharing space with a senior dog battling cancer has become too much for everyone. Harley deserves a home where she can simply be Harley.

She's a 4-year-old, spayed Pit Bull who absolutely adores people—especially kids. She's the kind of dog who wants to be touching you at all times, whether she's snuggled under a blanket on the couch or giving her goofy little "love nibbles" while she's covering you in kisses.

Harley is potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is up to date on vaccines. She does have allergies that are well managed with Cytopoint injections and a lamb-based diet. She loves healthy treats, tennis balls (for as long as they survive 😂), and she firmly believes rain is optional.

Harley needs to be the only pet. She has so much love to give—she just wants a family she doesn't have to share.

If you can offer Harley the home she deserves, or would like more information, please send us a message. And as always, sharing this post could be what helps her find her person.

Here’s a video clip showing how well trained Harley is!

Shinji

Shinji is a super playful kitten who needs a home with engaging people and animal friends! He has grown up running around with his brothers and would do well in a family that is adopting another kitten as well or has a young cat who needs a playmate. He also gets on well with my older female cat. (It may help that she’s a black cat, too!) It took a while, but he was persistent in convincing her to become friends!

Very friendly with both people and cats, Shinji says hello to all of my friends when they come over and likes to visit around the room. He’s a fun guy who has never met a toy or a kitty tower he didn’t love!

Specifically, Shinji is about four months old and weighs just over 3 pounds. The photos are recent and one has a coffee cup for comparison size! At this age, they look more “cat” in the face, but are only maybe a third of their final weight and have massive kitten energy and personality. It is REALLY important that he have another kitty with lots of energy to run and play. He is very healthy and is neutered and vaccinated.

That said, Shinji has grown up in a house without young children or dogs, and I feel like it would be better for him have a new home where he doesn’t have to deal with that.

Shinji is comfortable being picked up though he isn’t thrilled to be carried around for a long time. Honestly, I think he’d get used to being carried around longer with a bit of encouragement.

JiJi

This sweet man is JiJi. JiJi is looking for his purrfect furever home. He is a very sweet boy that loves lying on top of his humans and taking naps with them. He is curious and can be nosy about what’s in your cabinets. He also loves to tell you about his day. He does have a medical condition where his bladder gets inflamed during times of stress. Right now his condition is well managed, but he will need to stay on a prescription diet. He is an absolute love bug with humans, but prefers to be the only pet (or at least the only kitty) in the house. Once he has adjusted to his new home, he may not need any treatments other than his prescription diet. If you think you can handle lots of love and cuddles from this sweet boy and feel comfortable with his condition, please reach out for further information. Ally -- 865-771-0852. [Posted 6/9/2026]

Adoption News!

Meisha and Remi — Adopted!

Meisha and Remi are 1½-year-old bonded sisters who spent their first year surviving on the streets together after being abandoned as tiny kittens. When the world was cold and scary, they curled up together. When one was afraid, the other stayed close. They survived because they never left each other’s side.

Now they are safe in foster care… but they are still waiting for someone to choose them.

The challenge has been that they are a little shy, and shy cats are often the most overlooked.

“Shy” does not mean unfriendly. It simply means they need time to observe, feel safe, and build trust. Cats like Meisha and Remi often form incredibly deep and loyal bonds with the people who give them patience and kindness. Sometimes “shy” just means they’re waiting for the right person. Could that person be you?

Meisha – the curious, playful explorer who loves investigating everything.

Remi – the gentle, sensitive sweetheart who gains confidence from her sister.

🐈Together they love to:

- Play and wrestle

- Zoom around the house

- Groom each other

- Curl up together for cozy nap.

🏠Their dream home:

• Quiet, calm, indoor-only home

• Patient humans willing to let them adjust at their own pace

• They LOVE other cats

• Possibly okay with a calm, cat-savvy dog

🩺Health & Habits:

✔ Spayed

✔ Vaccinated

✔ FeLV/FIV negative

✔ Dewormed

✔ On flea/tick/heartworm prevention

✔ Perfect litter box manners

They already survived the hardest part of life.

Now they’re just waiting for someone to give them the one thing they’ve never truly had… a FOREVER home together. [Posted 4/28/2026]

Miso - ADOPTED!

Miso kitten needs buddies!

Miso is energetic, playful, silly and in need of a home with buddies!! He is friendly and well adapted to life with other cats and older kids to adults. He has grown up with his litter brothers and would be perfect for a household that is adopting another kitten as well or has a friendly, young cat that needs a companion.

Miso will happily hang out with people, sleep in bed and on a cat tower, and play with any and all toys. He is comfortable being picked up and cuddled (within reason, of course!). Since he has not been around dogs or small children, we would prefer that he go to a home where that isn’t a concern.

Miso is almost 4 months old. He has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations. He weighs approximately 2 pounds and is a very healthy kitty!

Max - ADOPTED!

Max’s owner recently died, and we (and the doctors at Jackson Square!) have been taking care of him. We love him very much, but already have our hands full with several other fur babies.

He’s over 2 years old (not quite sure), 22 pounds, a neutered male, up-to-date on vaccinations, house trained, and has thrived on chicken/rice-based kibble. He is well-socialized, and plays well with other dogs and cats once they have met.

Outside, he loves “following his nose”, exploring, and chasing squirrels, birds and rabbits.

Inside, he loves chewing on elk horn, bully chews, getting Milk-bone treats, playing with his various toys, and fetching.

Most importantly, he insists he’s a little lap dog. He loves being a constant companion next to you or on your lap. [Posted 6/26/2026]
